To
become a great player you have to work hard and practice often. If you rely
only on the time that you get during the season to develop skills, you may be
disappointed. During the season team practices are intended to build teams,
and there is limited time for individual player development.
So how do you become a better player? The best way is to work on your skills
during the off-season. Go to basketball camps, shoot in your driveway, dribble
around the block, and play pick-up games with your friends.
The following drills and work-out routines are intended to help you improve your
skills. The harder you work at these skills, the better you will become.
| Increase Foot Quickness | Strength & Rebounding |
| Post Moves | Ball Handling |
| Dribbling | Shooting Program |
If you are committed to getting better; work hard this off season and you will
see significant improvements.
