For Coaches

AGTBA IS LOOKING FOR
COACHES FOR THE 2023-2024 SEASON

One of the goals in our program is to expose Andover girls to a more competitive and higher level basketball league where we teach the fundamentals of the game of basketball (over and beyond a normal recreation league experience). Coaches will focus on both the development of team concepts and ideals, as well as individual skills. Coaches will strive to teach participants to compete to their highest level of ability, while learning to win with dignity and lose with class. Coaches will also provide a safe and positive environment to encourage the growth and development of each student athlete both on and off the court. They must always reinforce the positive aspects of athletic participation such as having fun, building camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Please complete the following Coaches Application with all information that is requested. Please understand that this information will be used to conduct a background check on any person who is given a volunteer coaching position with AGTBA.

Requirements

All coaching positions (Head and Assistant) will require a background check and training.
