For 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades;

For a ten-player team: The top five rated players will automatically make the A team and the coach will select five additional players to fill out the team.
For a nine-player team: The top five rated players will automatically make the A team and the coach will select four additional players to fill out the team.
For an eight-player team: The top four rated players will automatically make the A team and the coach will select four additional players to fill out the team.

If a sufficient number of players remain after the A (Gold) team is chosen, the remaining players enter the B (Black) team selection process.

For a ten-player team: The top five rated remaining players will automatically make the B team and the coach will select five additional players to fill out the team.
For a nine-player team: The top five rated remaining players will automatically make the B team and the coach will select five additional players to fill out the team.
For an eight-player team: The top four rated remaining players will automatically make the B team and the coach will select four additional players to fill out the team.

Only Board approved, special extenuating circumstances may alter any part of this selection process for all teams (including, but not limited to: a legitimate medical excuse documented by a health care provider; an immediate family crisis; or an unavoidable circumstance).
