2025-26 Registration Information

PLAYING COST

  • 3rd grade $400* This cost includes 6 tournaments, practice gym time, and team equipment.
  • 4th-8th grade $600* This cost includes 10 tournaments, practice gym time, and team equipment.

In the event your daughter does not make a team, the player fee will be refunded in full. Volunteer fees and uniform fees will not be charged. The tryout fee is not refundable.

Volunteer Fee: $400 volunteer fee per family, added at volunteer registration but NOT CHARGED as long as an adult family member(s) of each family volunteers 8 hours during the Andover Artic Blast Tournament hosted by AGTBA.  There is also an option to pay the $400 in full during volunteer registration in order to opt out of volunteer hours.  Other volunteer opportunities may be available.

Raffle Ticket Fee:  $100 fee per family. Each family will be required to purchase ten, $10 raffle tickets. These raffle tickets can be retained by the family or sold to interested parties.

Uniform Fee:  As a board, we have made the decision on purchasing new jerseys for our 3rd-7th grade teams for 2025-26. Our current jerseys have become outdated, and more and more difficult to source… not to mention the general fit and feel being less than conducive to many of our players. Cost is yet to be determined but expect to pay for these at or before tryouts. We will give 8th grade players the option to keep the current jerseys for the season (there will be separate communication on this).

*Some AGTBA teams may have paid coaches; thus, the cost of their season will be a higher cost than listed above. This cost is yet to be determined.

Refund Policy

If your child decides not to try out, you are entitled to a full refund of your season registration fee. A refund will automatically be issued shortly after tryouts for any player who did not not make a team; however, the $30 tryout fee will not be refunded. In addition, a full refund may be requested for any reason if the request is made prior to tryouts.

No refunds will be made for any player that makes a team after tryouts are complete.

How do my registration fees get spent by the AGTBA?

While our registration fees are in line with other metro area traveling basketball associations, it is important to understand the components of our key expenses. The largest portion of registration fees go to cover both tournament entry fees or the rental of gym time for team practices.

In addition, our registration fees are subsidized by the income we receive from hosting the AGTBA Arctic Blast basketball tournament each season.  This tournament keeps our registration fees reasonable as well as ensures that we can continue to offer a quality basketball development experience for each participant.
